Data Center Networking

Back to all solutions

Africa’s data center networking market is entering a high-growth phase: it is expected to grow from USD 2.1 billion in 2025 to USD 4.41 billion by 2031 according to Morodor Intelligence, driven by cloud adoption, AI workloads, digital transformation, data-residency requirements and the need for high-speed, low-latency connectivity.

Down To Earth Technologies offers customers end-to-end data center networking solutions designed to optimize performance, reduce latency, improve resilience and provide seamless connectivity across modern enterprise environments. As organizations move more workloads into private cloud, hybrid cloud, colocation facilities and AI-ready infrastructure, the data center network has become the foundation for application performance, business continuity and secure digital service delivery.

From financial institutions and telecommunications providers to governments, enterprises and service providers, organizations depend on agile, scalable and secure data center fabrics to support mission-critical applications, high-speed storage and compute environments, east-west traffic, automation, virtualization and multi-cloud integration. DTE helps customers design and deploy data center networks that are built for uptime, scalability, security and operational efficiency.

At DTE, our skilled data center networking engineers work across Cisco technologies to design, deploy, optimize, manage and support data center environments that deliver high availability, simplified operations, application visibility and secure connectivity from the data center core to the cloud edge.

Our Data Center Networking Solution Areas

Data Center Network Design and Architecture — design of scalable, resilient data center topologies including spine-leaf architectures, Layer 2 and Layer 3 designs, redundancy, failover and capacity planning.
Deployment and Configuration of Data Center Networking Hardware — implementation of switching, routing and connectivity platforms that interconnect servers, storage, virtualization platforms and critical business systems.
Network Virtualization and Software-Defined Networking — deployment of Cisco ACI, VXLAN and policy-driven data center fabrics that centralize management, automate configuration and support dynamic application traffic flows.
High-Speed Data Center Connectivity — design and deployment of 10/25/40/100G connectivity, link aggregation and optimized east-west traffic flows to support compute, storage, cloud and AI workloads.
Data Center Interconnect — resilient connectivity between primary, secondary, disaster recovery and colocation data centers for workload mobility, replication and business continuity.
Traffic Management and Load Balancing — integration of traffic distribution, application delivery and load-balancing capabilities to improve performance, availability and user experience.
Data Center Management and Visibility — monitoring, automation, analytics and operational visibility to improve uptime, troubleshooting, capacity planning and lifecycle management.
