High-Capacity East-West Data Transmission Network.
The Challenge
The telecommunications network required additional capacity to support high-volume east-west data transmission and the continued growth of network traffic across Somaliland.
The Solution
DTE expanded the telco’s IP Core and DWDM network using Cisco NCS 2000 and NCS 5000 series platforms. The deployment provided the infrastructure required to support high-capacity data transmission across the network.
The Outcome
The network expansion strengthened the telco’s high-capacity transmission infrastructure and provided additional capacity for east-west data traffic.
